13 cards is one of the popular poker game among Chinese communities, each player is dealt 13 cards that where the name of the game come from.
The game kicks off with 2 players and maximum of 4 of them per table:

• You dealt 13 cards in your hand and arrange it into 3 hands that are Back, Middle and Front. 5cards for the Back & Middle hands and 3 cards for the front hand.
• The ideal way for your cards arrangement is: Back hands > Middle hands > Front hands.
• You will have to pays a penalty to each opponent for “wrong arrangement”.
• But a good 13 Cards strategy is that your front should always, as much as a possible has a pair. See 13 card strategy details in Cards king section
• Your hands will then be compared against the corresponding hands of your opponents. Front VS Front, Middle VS Middle and Back VS Back.
• You will receive a number of points if you win in each individual game. It just an indication of how many hands you has won.

Your Back hand is a straight flush, beats the middle hand, “4-of-a-kind’, which beats the front hand, “3-of-a-kind’. Once your hands are played, each player compares their 3 group against each other.
You win 1 point for each corresponding group of another player that you beat and lose 1 for each group that beats you.
13 cards scoring:
Now, let’s have a looks at some simple Win Loss calculation if you are compare against with other 3 players.
Assume that you’re currently positioned at south (Red Box),
South VS West, You win 3 points from west as you win every hand.
South VS North, You win 1point from North as you win in front & middle hands but lose in the back hand.
South VS East, You win 1 point from East as you win in front & middle hands but lose in the back hand.
You total win 5 points in this game and your winning will be the win points multiply by the stake table.

Remember to CLAIM your Clean Sweep if you are lucky enough to get it. But if you don’t declare your Clean Sweep, it plays as a regular group.
When more than one player has Clean Sweep groups, holder of the highest rank group wins the total unit value for that group. For example, Player A has Dragon and Player B has 6 pairs. So, A wins 13 points from B. If Player A and Player B have the same rank of Clean Sweep group, it is considers TIE.
