Also known as yablon, ace-deuce, in between, and between the sheets, red dog is a card game that was introduced to the casinos in Nevada in the 1980's.
CARD VALUES
The card values for the game are as follows:
PLAY:
- Red Dog is a game of chance between Player and the Banker.
- It is played with a single standard deck of 52 cards.
- You are dealt two cards.
- If the first two cards are consecutive ranks (like 5 and 6), you push.
- You must predict whether the value of the third card will fall between the values of the two cards dealt.
- If you believe you will draw a card ranked between the first two cards, you can raise.
- If you believe the third card will not be ranked between the first two cards dealt, you can select call.
- If the third card is ranked between the first two cards dealt, you win.
- If the third card is not ranked between the first two cards dealt, you lose.
- If all three cards are the same rank, you win 11:1.
